Policy Guidance
The FOUR PAWS policy development guides can assist brands in developing effective animal protection frameworks.

Brand Policy Guidelines
Our vision for an animal-friendly fashion future is guided by the FOUR PAWS Key Principles: to fulfill the General Welfare Aims of the Five Domains model, ensure full traceability and transparency, ban the use of wild animals, and work to reduce use of animal products. In short: Refine, Reduce, Replace. These principles are detailed in our Animal Welfare Policy Guidelines for Fashion Brands and Retailers, which also includes policy, labelling, and reporting checklists.

Committing to Animal-Derived Material Reduction Targets
Sourcing animal-derived materials carries many risks and impacts that can harm animals, people, and the planet - and increasingly, the businesses sourcing them. Use this guide, along with the case studies within it, to see why committing to reducing your use of animal-derived materials is worthwhile and how to do so effectively.
