A Fashion Disaster

How UK supermarkets are failing animals

Supply chain secrets:

What hidden horrors are UK supermarket fashion brands hiding?

Each year, over five billion animals are exploited by the fashion industry. Lambs raised for merino wool have slices of flesh cut off with little pain relief, whilst geese and ducks are subjected to brutal live plucking for their feathers.

Shockingly, the UK’s major supermarket fashion brands continue to sell animal-derived materials without enforcing strong animal welfare standards. This lack of robust policies means countless animals in their supply chains may endure severe and unnecessary cruelty.

This must change. With your help, we can hold supermarkets accountable and demand meaningful improvements to their animal welfare policies—protecting animals from suffering and ensuring a more ethical future for fashion.
