THE BUDGET IS ON THE TABLE

10.3.2020

Money can be a blocker for schools and hospitals introducing better food policies but shouldn’t be.

Since we launched ‘Make Food Kinder’ we have wanted to encourage local authorities to reduce the volume of meat and animal products served in schools, hospitals and other local institutions and replace them with healthy, plant-based alternatives.

Often cost has been a reason why people have been hesitant to do so, but as the national budget for another year is revealed by the government we wanted to share our own budget revealing just how much could be gained from a financial stand-point as well as a health perspective by adding more plant-based options to the menu.

It’s simple, Reduce Meat, Reduce Costs.
