Whether it’s a juicy burger, a warming curry or some spicy tacos, dishes from all over the globe can be made plant-based twist easier than you think. In fact it has never been easier to make the transition to a more plant-based diet, with new products being added to supermarket shelves every week.

We’ve been working on a collection of some of our favourite plant-based recipes from around the world, inspired by the countries we work in to make a fairer future for animals. Why not have a look and see what takes your fancy?

My personal favourite was the Vietnamese Pho – it was so quick and easy to whip up after work, and most of the ingredients are often what you have lying around in the back of a cupboard or waiting to be used up in your fridge - super convenient!

Sophie, our Press and Marketing Officer loved the Cambodian Yellow Curry: “This was such a warm, hearty meal to make for these colder autumnal evenings we’re having now. Plus it didn’t take long to make and tasted incredible!”

Fancy something sweet? Here’s what our Campaign Officer, Becky, had to say about her favourite recipe, German Apple Strudel: “As someone who has grown up eating my German nanny's strudel, it's great to see that I can find a plant-based alternative that still has the authentic flavour without the animal cruelty behind some of the products.”

Reducing your meat and dairy intake is as simple as swapping your beef mince for veggie mince in your spaghetti Bolognese, or having plant-based yoghurt with your granola instead.

Any small changes you make to your diet will go towards a better future for animals where they are treated with empathy and respect. It doesn’t have to be a full change either, having one meat-free day a week is a great place to start!

Let us know how you get on, and remember - we still have more recipes to come so keep your eyes peeled on our Kinder Bite page for more exciting food from around the globe!
