At the tail end of 2021, the wonderful team at Goose Island Brewery donated proceeds from the sale of a very special brew to FOUR PAWS UK, to help us reveal, rescue, and protect animals just like the namesake of their IPA, Derek. 

Derek, named before discovering she was a female goose, was a beloved staple in Watchet Town, the home of Goose Island Brewery. Derek recently went missing from her homestead, having migrated there 10 years ago.  

Sending out their good migrations to Derek, wherever she may be now, the team wanted to spread those good vibes further and decided to support other wild animals in finding safe, free homes in the world.  

Thanks to the popularity of Derek’s tipple, Goose Island has generously donated £4,500 to FOUR PAWS UK, which will be a huge support to our wild animal campaigns.
