Leaving a Will: FAQs

Got a question regarding your will? See if it's answered below.

How much does it cost?

Writing your will with Bequeathed is free. That’s why FOUR PAWS has decided to partner with Bequeathed to offer a free online Will-writing service, making Will writing less of a chore and ensuring the pennies go to the more important things in life.

If you there are any issues where further legal advice is required for the completion of your Will, or you prefer to complete your Will face-to-face or by phone, Bequeathed will provide you with the best quote for your needs.

What do I need to start my will?

Writing your will is important and requires consideration and care. Through partnering with Bequeathed, you have access to a handy checklist to help you prepare. Please visit: www.bequeathed.org/wills/making-a-will/will-checklist

Where will my donations go?

Donations made to FOUR PAWS are spent around the world wherever the need is greatest to help animals in need. Gift left in Wills have been enough to run our BEAR SANCTUARY Ninh Binh for 6 months this year alone.

How long does it take to write a will?

We know that will writing can be cumbersome and getting round to it isn’t always easy. That’s why we have teamed up with Bequeathed who will provide you with 4 quick and easy steps to writing your free online Will. We all have different requirements and needs for our Will, so it can take as long as you need it to without it costing you a penny.

Who can use the free online will-writing service?

This free service is available to people 18 or over who live in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.Unfortunately, the service is not yet available to those in Scotland or the Republic of Ireland because of key differences in laws around Will-writing and inheritance.

If you are based in Scotland or the Republic of Ireland, please contact our Legacy Officer, Jo to explore other will writing options:
