Orangutans rescued from imminent slaughter
FOUR PAWS funded team save pregnant mother and daughter.

An orangutan mother and her infant have been successfully re-released into the wild after they had been saved from head hunters in Borneo a week earlier. Members of the FOUR PAWS working with its Indonesian partners BOS and RHOI had been searching the area surrounding a palm oil plantation after news of systematic killings had surfaced. [more]

Agreement signed!

Despite protests throughout the EU against the mass poisoning and bashing-to-death of stray dogs in the Ukraine, still thousands of animals are being killed. Helmut Dungler, foundation president of FOUR PAWS, today, after long negotiations, made a written agreement with Ukraine’s environmental minister Mykola Zlochevskiy. Rescued horses in Romania

Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has refused permission

The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has refused permission to B&K Universal to build a breeding facility for dogs in Grimston, East Yorkshire that would have supplied animals for use in painful and fatal experiments.
