FOUR PAWS to start neutering in the Ukraine Agreement signed!
Despite protests throughout the EU against the mass poisoning and bashing-to-death of stray dogs in the Ukraine, still thousands of animals are being killed. Helmut Dungler, foundation president of FOUR PAWS, today, after long negotiations, made a written agreement with Ukraine’s environmental minister Mykola Zlochevskiy. The agreement provides a humane solution to the stray dog problem.

Rescued horses in Romania A new, loving home for the mares of Corbeanca
FOUR PAWS and Romanian animal welfare group GIA have succeeded in finding suitable foster families for all female horses that were recently put up for adoption. After the dramatic rescue of 26 severely neglected horses and a legal tug-of-war that lasted several months, three pairs remained in the care of the two organisations.
